{"id":12545,"date":"2010-09-26T20:38:20","date_gmt":"2010-09-27T01:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.samhilliard.com\/wordpress\/?p=12545"},"modified":"2010-09-26T20:38:20","modified_gmt":"2010-09-27T01:38:20","slug":"mentionable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.samhilliard.com\/wordpress\/2010\/09\/26\/mentionable\/","title":{"rendered":"Mentionable"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The Last Track<\/em> netted a few mentions in the past few weeks:<\/p>\n<p>First, Gina at <a href=\"http:\/\/insatiablereaders.blogspot.com\/2010\/09\/in-my-shopping-bag-46.html\">Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers<\/a>, apparently purchased a copy of <em>The Last Track<\/em> and recommended others do the same, even though she already had a review copy.<\/p>\n<p>Margot Kinberg held an excellent discussion about the <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/2cdgmve\">dynamic character arc of heroes in mystery novels<\/a> at her site. In addition to classics from Mickey Spillane and Agatha Christie, she included <em>The Last Track<\/em>. It also got me fired up to re-read <em>The Big Kill.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So those two entries pretty much made my week.<\/p>\n<p>Last, Cynthia the admin of a Facebook group page, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/?ref=logo#!\/pages\/Book-Reader-Addicts\/111740428882269\">Book Reader Addicts<\/a> invited me to check out their page, which I liked.<\/p>\n<p>Details are still being sorted out, but Book Reader Addicts will host a contest for <em>The Last Track<\/em> soon.
