A little history about the fallen catchphrase. The last slogan many in the Garden State remember: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153New Jersey and you. Perfect together.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d That one went nationwide. Not a bad slogan, and loads better than the replacement the Governor ditched: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153New Jersey: We&#8217;ll win you over.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Win, eh? That&#8217;s certainly the wrong verb. I see now why it had to go.<\/p>\n<p>In what may be Governor Codey&#8217;s finest hour, he asked the people, and they responded. Here&#8217;s a partial list:<br \/>\n1) &#8220;We&#8217;re All You Need.&#8221;<br \/>\n2) &#8220;New Jersey Loves Somebody, Anybody, Everybody.&#8221;<br \/>\n3) &#8220;What&#8217;s It To You?&#8221;<br \/>\n4) &#8220;Big Hair, Big Heart, Big Fun.&#8221;<br \/>\n5) &#8220;Leave Your Heart in San Francisco &#038; Take Your Wallet to New Jersey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Props to number five for being the most direct. Number three is the most representative of the Jersey &#8216;tude.  As for number four, that&#8217;s nostalgia talking.
