Perfect together.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d That one went nationwide. Not a bad slogan, and loads better than the replacement the Governor ditched: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153New Jersey: We’ll win you over.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Win, eh? That’s certainly the wrong verb. I see now why it had to go.<\/p>\n
In what may be Governor Codey’s finest hour, he asked the people, and they responded. Here’s a partial list:
\n1) “We’re All You Need.”
\n2) “New Jersey Loves Somebody, Anybody, Everybody.”
\n3) “What’s It To You?”
\n4) “Big Hair, Big Heart, Big Fun.”
\n5) “Leave Your Heart in San Francisco & Take Your Wallet to New Jersey.”<\/p>\n
Props to number five for being the most direct. Number three is the most representative of the Jersey ‘tude. As for number four, that’s nostalgia talking. Big hair days fell during the first Clinton Administration.<\/p>\n
My favorite suggestion: “Most of Our Elected Officials Have Not Been Indicted.”<\/p>\n
