This surgical procedure is an information gathering excercise conducted by a GI specialist.  It requires general anesthesia and a trained support staff.  Based on what the GI specialist found during the procedure, two ( might be three &#8211; the notes above the images are confusing &#8211; but definitely two ) biopsies were taken and a colonscopy scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>In deference to the squeamish, here&#8217;s some links.
