Clocksucker ( n ): a client who is noteworthy for their ability to waste a vendor’s time. They may make vendors feel as if they are trying to run through a swimming pool. The bane of any small business.

Example: The boss wants me to replace every component on the laptop piece by piece instead of buying a new one. What a clocksucker.

OR

Example: “I got an email about transferring money to Nigeria. Can you verify the sender? I’m worried someone stole my identity. Last, find out if it’s real. I could use the cash.”
